Scumdogz cover

Scumdogz are a classic rock influenced band out of Hanover, Germany who hold true to the sound that makes ear drums bleed. The album features chord pounding, four on the floor, no nonsense hard rocking sing along anthems.

Julian on vocals sounds quite a bit like Lemmy Kilmister, all liquor and razorblades. I enjoyed the team backing vocals as well.

Ralph and Klaus on guitars have a strong AC/DC influence and keep it simple and powerful throughout this rocking album.

The rhythm section of Pulle on bass and Phoebe on drums rocks hard and each has great tone and feel.

With titles like “Hope You Gonna Die” and “Gasoline Bitches” this music is not for the faint of heart. This album is a sustained gut punch.

I really dig the riff on “Blood Brothers” and the chorus of “Sell My Soul” is a strong hook. “Wrecking Ball” is a standout track. It kicks!

There is much to enjoy on this beer binge, mosh pit, sticky floor, head banging album.
