Alice In Chains meets Metallica in the southwest of the UK in the band Kikamora.

“In The Henhouse” is a wonderfully varied album with different colors, but always rocking hard.

“Twist My Arm” does! It comes out of the gate sweating a sending a clear aggressive message.

“Methadream” is a dynamic tune with soft and loud passages and has a very melodic vibe.

“Pest” is all mojo in your face. It shows off the band interplay very well.

“Suffer Unto Me” slows things down into blues territory. It gives vocalist Wilf Kite a chance to showcase his emotive singing. I like when the tune kicks into its big dynamic surges. Very powerful.

“Half Rats” keeps the blues going and is a nice showcase for Jimi Bessant on Lead guitar and Daniel Marshall on Rhythm guitar.

Kikamora is a group of seasoned hard rock musicians in fine form. The music feels real. This album is a breath of fresh air in a sea of programmed music. If you like rock in your face, holding nothing back, you will enjoy this first official release by Kikamora.
