Album Review: Hell’s Addiction – “Broken”

Album Review: Hell’s Addiction – “Broken”
By: M. LoopCoverBased in Leicester, UK, this killer hard rock band pays honest homage to their 70’s and 80’s heroes while carving out their own niche within the genre.
Ben Sargent sings with a raw, honest, rough and high pitched voice reminiscent of Brian Johnson of AC/DC, Zack De La Rocha and Jack White. He has quite a range. No note seems too high for him.
Guitarists Liam Sargent and Adam Bramley play off each other well as rhythm guitarists. Their solos are pro caliber and their two part harmony lines are well written.
The rhythm section of bassist Jason Green and drummer Luke Morley is rock solid. The drums are very well recorded and the bass is nicely distorted with great tone.
This is aggressive music, not for the faint hearted.
Lock up the women and children, show off your tats and run to the next Hell’s Addiction show.
